The first bridge demolition of the project will be taking place over the weekend of 27-30 September 2019 and as a result the motorway will be closed in both directions between junctions 5 to 6 from approximately 8pm on Friday 27 September until 6am on Monday 30 September. If work completes ahead of schedule we will reopen the motorway earlier.
There are two further closures planned between junctions 6 to 8/9 in November/December, detailed in the attached letter. We will write to you again in advance of these closures.
