West Berkshire Council’s contractor Volker Highways Ltd., will be undertaking the essential carriageway surfacing works on Hose Hill between Folly Lane and Deans Copse Road, Burghfield from 07.00am and 7:00pm Monday 26 to Friday 30 July 2021 as shown on the enclosed plan. These works will be undertaken using a formal road closure with a signed diversion route to provide a safe working zone for the workforce and public. No through traffic will be available, however, the contractor will endeavour to maintain access to residential properties and emergency vehicles will be given access through the site but only under the supervision of the appointed Site Supervisor.

Residents letters have been delivered and advanced information boards have been erected on site and every effort will be made to complete these works as programmed, however, these works will be delayed if the weather is very wet or hot. Should it be necessary to revise the programme, the information boards will be updated accordingly.

Should it be necessary to revise the programme, the information boards will be updated accordingly. Alternatively, you can view the current status of the scheme by visiting https://one.network/?121360148 where any updates will be posted.

On-street parking or parking on verges and any other part of the public highway will not be available to prevent damage caused by the works.
