West Berkshire Council’s (WBC) term maintenance contractor Volker Highways will on Monday be starting highway improvement work to extend an existing area of grasscrete parking within Burghfield.
The scheme is to start on 6th December 2021 with works currently scheduled to last one week. In order to safely undertake the works the contractor will be installing 4-way temporary traffic signals at the crossroads with Sulhamstead Road, Reading Road and Theale Road. The signals will be put up at 7:30am each morning and taken down at 17:30pm each night. During the busy school periods the lights will be manually controlled to reduce disruption and queueing
